Structure of 3PE Anti-Corrosion SSAW Steel Pipe
The three-layer polyethylene (3PE) anti-corrosion structure includes:
Fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE): the inner protective layer with strong adhesion and corrosion resistance
Copolymer adhesive (AD): thickness 170–250 μm, bonding the epoxy and polyethylene layers
Polyethylene (PE): thickness 1.8–3.7 mm, providing external mechanical protection (available in standard and reinforced grades)
These layers are firmly integrated with the SSAW steel pipe surface, forming a continuous, dense anti-corrosion barrier. Applicable pipe diameters: φ30 mm to φ1020 mm.
