The installation and use of spiral steel pipes require strict adherence to technical requirements and operating procedures to ensure both safety and quality. The following key points should be observed during general use:
1. Pre-installation Preparation
Before the spiral steel pipes can be installed, proper preparation is essential. This includes:
Digging pipe trenches and laying pipe wells.
Ensuring that all necessary tools and equipment, such as welding machines, cutting machines, electric hammers, and polishing machines, are available and in good working condition. These preparations are crucial before any installation work can begin.
2. Installation of Spiral Steel Pipes
Installation should be carried out according to the design drawings and site-specific conditions. The process typically involves:
Prefabricating pipe brackets according to the site conditions.
Punching holes based on both the design and the on-site situation.
Polishing grooves using a polishing machine to ensure smooth surfaces.
Proceeding with welding once the necessary preparations are complete.
3. Quality Requirements for Use
To ensure the proper functionality and safety of the installed spiral steel pipes, the following quality requirements must be met:
Vertical Installation: The deviation of vertically installed risers should be no greater than 3 mm per meter.
Horizontal Installation: The deviation of horizontally installed pipes should be no greater than 1 mm.
Branch Pipe Welding: Avoid welding branch pipes directly at the welds. Additionally, welding at pipe bends should be avoided whenever possible.
Welding Quality: Welding should be straight, with complete and uniform weld beads. There should be no burn-throughs or cracks on the surface of the weld.
By following these guidelines, the installation and use of spiral steel pipes can be executed with the utmost care, ensuring their reliability and durability in operation.
