C46400 Naval Brass is a high-performance copper alloy composed approximately of 60% copper, 39.2% zinc, and 0.8% tin. The inclusion of tin—replacing a portion of zinc—significantly enhances the alloy’s resistance to seawater corrosion and provides inherent dezincification resistance, making it especially suitable for marine and high-temperature applications. This composition not only improves corrosion protection but also contributes to excellent mechanical strength, rigidity, and resistance to wear, fatigue, galling, and stress corrosion cracking. This blog will talk about naval brass pipe in details.
