Seamless Steel Pipe

Seamless pipe made of a single piece of metal with no seams on the surface is called a seamless steel pipe. According to the production method, the seamless pipe is divided into a hot rolled pipe, a cold rolled pipe, a cold drawn pipe, an extruded pipe, a top pipe, and the like. According to the shape of the section, the seamless steel pipe is divided into two types: a circular shape and an irregular shape, and the shaped pipe has a square shape, an elliptical shape and the like. The maximum diameter is 650mm and the minimum diameter is 0.3mm. Seamless steel pipe is mainly used as petroleum geological drilling pipe, cracking pipe for petrochemical industry, boiler pipe, bearing pipe and high-precision structural steel pipe for automobile, tractor and aviation.

Features of API 5CT C95 Casing

The threaded surface of the coupling and API 5CT C95 casing tubing must be smooth, free from tears, burrs, or any defects that could affect strength and sealing performance.

According to the SY/T6194-96 standard, API 5CT C95 casing tubing is available in free lengths ranging from 8m to 13m. However, lengths of no less than 6m can also be supplied, with such quantities not exceeding 20% of the total order.

The inner and outer surfaces must be free from defects such as hairlines, separations, creases, cracks, or scabs. Any detected defects must be fully removed, with the removal depth not exceeding 12.5% of the nominal wall thickness.

These deformations are also strictly prohibited on the outer surface of API 5CT C95 casing tubing couplings.
